Archery Ontario is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Youth Team Trials to select athletes who will represent Ontario at the 2026 Rocky Mountain Classic in Alberta.
From January 1–4, 2026, the selected team will travel to one of Canada’s premier indoor events, competing against top youth archers from across the country.
Team Composition
The 2026 Youth Team will consist of six athletes, covering all three equipment divisions:

Recurve – 1 male, 1 female

Compound – 1 male, 1 female

Barebow – 1 male, 1 female
Eligible Age Categories
This team is exclusively for youth archers. The following age divisions based on 2026 ages are eligible to participate in the trials:

U21
-
U18
-
U15
Who Can Register
Any Ontario youth archer who falls within the eligible categories and meets Archery Ontario’s competitive requirements is welcome to register. This is a unique chance for young athletes to gain high-level competitive experience and proudly represent Ontario on the national stage.
How to Register
Registration for the Youth Team Trials is now live through the Archery Ontario events portal. Early registration is encouraged, as space may be limited. Registration should be based on an athletes 2026 competition age.
