On September 25th, 2022, the final trials for the Canada Winter Games team were held. Some of the greatest athletes across Ontario (ages ranging from 14-20 years old) came to try for one of four spots on the team.
The team was selected at the end of the event, those selected for the team were those who performed the best.
Your 2023 CWG is:
- Abby Bunn – female compound
- Amelia Gagné – female recurve
- Dustin Watson – male compound
- Durvishan Thananchayan – male recurve
These athletes will travel to Prince Edward Island (PEI) at the end of February to compete against athletes in their categories from the other Provinces and Territories across the country.
The Ontario athletes will compete individually as well as mixed teams (recurve mixed team and compound mixed team).
